Thirty years ago, Don Combs had no idea that the lures he was making in his garage would turn into one of the most popular salt water lure companies in the world. Don and his brother Roger have been fishing for over forty years. Don and Roger have won hundreds of blue waters fishing awards and hold many club records in the Northeast Florida Marlin Association. Their knowledge and experience have helped to develop a line of salt water lures that have been proven tournament winners for years. All of the employees at C&H Lures have contributed to the success of our company. C&H is company made up of men and women who love to fish. Our goal is to produce a high quality lure that is always available at your local tackle dealer.

Each time we come up with a new lure, we test it for about one year before deciding if it can join our family of winners. This is what we enjoy the most about our jobs - we have always enjoyed helping others win! The Pros at C&H have worked with many organizations like Florida Sportsman, Saltwater Sportsman and Big Game Magazine to help their readers catch more fish. Each year C&H lures is a major sponsor of the King Buster Tournament and the Greater Jacksonville Kingfish Tournament. In addition, C&H lures contributes products to various charitable and children's tournaments. We learn new ideas from our customers and from our fishing experiences on the tournament trail.

In addition to our customers who have won hundreds of tournaments with our lures, team C&H still competes in many different fishing tournaments each year. The only way to keep up with the changes in the industry is to get out and get involved in the sport! The C&H fishing team is sponsored by Fountain Power Boats and Lowrance Electronics. In 2004, team C&H finished 5th overall and won the Fort Pierce leg of the SKA Pro Tour. The C&H Team also fishes in several billfish tournaments each year and sponsors many billfish events in several different countries. We know what works in different geographic locations because we have fished there ourselves. For expert advice and quality products, you can count on C&H Lures' knowledgeable staff.

C&H builds lures for all types of saltwater angles. We have large lures for the Marlin fishermen and King Busters for the teams chasing the SKA awards. We are proud to say that most of our lures are still made in the USA. Recently, we came up with some new ideas for the Salmon fishermen. Last year our Pro staff boat in Valdese, Alaska won top honors for the year using the Salmon Smoker and the Rattle Jet from C&H. "New ideas" is what we are about - we want our customers to have the advantage over our competition, so they too can be winners with C&H.
